Yes. Compatible files can be searched using the six-digit BMW DTC shown by a diagnostic tool. If the final two digits are unavailable in a specific file, the service shows candidates from the matching four-digit group.
Which files does the BMW MG1 DTC OFF service support?
The service accepts validated 8 MiB full FLASH files and AutoTuner 2 MiB MAP files whose first 1 MiB is FF. File format and software compatibility are checked during analysis.
When is the 0.5 credit charged?
File analysis and DTC selection are free. The 0.5 credit is charged only after the modified DTC OFF file is created successfully; failed processing is not charged.
